Ache Princely is nine years old and in primary four in Sharis Bilingual Nursery and Primary School. The mother AgweHonorine declared to us that she moved to Douala from Mbengwi (a small village in the North West Region) in 2018 when the tensions escalated, Ache Princely (one of her children) had already spent a complete school year home because of insecurity.
Babila Daniel. Twelve years old and found himself in Douala as a result of crisis in the English speaking regions of Cameroon. His mother declared to us that the boy had spent the academic years of 2016 to 2018 without going to school and has lost his elder brother as a result of the conflict. He is in Primary five in Sharis Bilingual Nursery and Primary School.
FOVAN BILINGUAL NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL
Obi Marie Claire equally is in the same school and in Primary two and seven years old. She has spent one complete acacemic year without going to school in the conflict region (South West Region precisely) that is the year 2018. Her mother brought her alongside her siblings to Douala in the year 2019 May.
Akognwi Juscal is seven years old and in Primary three in Fovan Bilingual Nursery and Primary School. He is the only child of his mother and was brought to Douala by his mother early 2020 due the crisis in the North West Region. AkongnwiJuscal was brought to the said school during this year reopening by her mother and was sent back home a week after her mother could not even afford books and registration fees for him. It was upon the arrival of Hope for Cameroon back to school campaign team that part of his tuition was paid and books purchased for him and he resumed school and is in school up to date.
Daughter of Chick Loveline, five years of age and presently schooling in Fovan Nursery Primary School Bonaberi Douala in Primary one. Chick Favour did not go school through out the academic year of 2018-2019 giving reasons her mother was in the process of fleeing from the crisis and equally could not afford for her education.
